Strawberry is the oldest official and legal initiative of the MTB community in Košice. Moreover, it is one of the first initiatives of, at that time newly established, civic association SLOMBA with which KE.CY has been cooperating up to date. It was the year 2008 or 2009 when the trail builders from Košice and Prešov tried the processes of single-track construction they read about or watched from foreign sources.

The result of their attempts was for a long time one of its kind official trail called Strawberry (this is fortunately no longer true :D).

Strawberry is more of an XC trail suitable for everyone. It is unique as it turns around trees and does not leave a single terrain roughness unnoticed and takes the cyclist through it only to “fire” them out and keeps them excitingly look for and explore the things to come. The “medium difficulty” grade is given to the trail due to a jump (which can be avoided) and its several rooty sections. Suitable even for children with intermediate skills.
