Davidoff (Understand David’s)
GPX for downloadThe single track DAVIDOFF was designed for the location where the unofficial trail named “ocel-pitcho” and built by Dávid and his friends (Jakub, Miro...) used to be. For logical reasons, it was later given the name Davidoff after the wooden mega drop. The trail was, however, designed from the highest point above this location and was then staked down to the lowest level possible within this forest zone. When it comes to its character, Davidoff is divided into 3 different sections. The first part is rocky and uses the interestingly broken ground at the top and its natural flow. The second part under the forest slope road is somewhat slower and it meanders nicely along technically more demanding ground and roots and loose rocks. The third part has been a man-made section and it comprises a beautiful, dredger-shaped FLOW trail that is nicely set into the ground and the obstacles such as banked curves, benches and waves enable you to enjoy the ride with minimum braking and without any need to pedal. This whole trail can be passed by the cyclists who master the ride technique of the “intermediate” level. Despite this lower level of difficulty, however, it is still full of fun and interesting for those more technically skilled and definitely a challenge for beginners.
